A detailed description of what the student plans to do for their capstone project. This includes details of how you plan to carry out your project. This will be unique to each type of project.
A rationale for the project being proposed including a brief description of the problem, need or issue that will be addressed. Include a reference list of 10 -12 scholarly articles used to develop the background for the proposal that is relevant to the capstone project. The background section should be approximately 1-2 paragraphs.
A description of how the project will meet three or more MHA competencies.
A description of how the proposed capstone project aligns with the student’s educational and professional goals.
A description of the resources, methods, and or databases that will be used to support the development of the capstone project.
A completed capstone proposal checklist.
