After reviewing the readings and videos, how can you rapidly and effectively implement quality/change initiative in your organization. Consider elements of PDSA cycles (iterative cycles, hypothesis testing, using data, small test of change, documentation). How can you use data to show whether an improvement has been achieved? How do you know? Include in your response topics such as statistical process control; common cause versus special cause variation; how to build and interpret run charts. What tools can be used to understand the current state of a process and any problems/barriers associated with it. How do you select the most appropriate metric(s) to monitor improvement effects (include types of measure, data dictionaries, and data collection).
Also, provide us with an example or two of what your organization does in this regard.
