Job satisfaction is essential to comprehending the multi-generational workforce (Cote, 2019). The general problem is that each generation’s perception and influences on job satisfaction are unique (Cote, 2019). The business problem is that managers do not understand how each generation perceives job satisfaction and how an individual’s education level influences their perception of happiness, leading to lower productivity and turnover intention (Abate et al., 2018). There is a lack of research on the relationship between the independent variables of generational identity and education level on the dependent variable of job satisfaction, specifically regarding human resources professionals (Abate et al., 2018).
