MY Topic:
The topic I choose is the long-term effects of parenting styles. I picked this topic because I feel like the good and bad in my childhood made me the person I am today and being a parent myself I would like to gain any knowledge that will help me make my kids the best person they can be. I think I will discover actions/behavior that I handled poorly or I handled well, and maybe teach me a different way to handle interactions with my whole family.
Part 2: This is an emailed list of four (4) refereed journal articles pertaining to your topic. These will come from the Academic Search Complete database. These are not annotated bibliographies. It is a list with the author’s names, article titles, & journal information. A rubric for this assignment will be posted under the “Rubrics” link. The instructions for finding these articles will be in a video located under the “Videos” link. Instructions for viewing the videos will be located under the “Important Instructions” link.
Part 2 is worth 25 points. This is due by 11:30 PM on Monday, April 11. It will be accepted late, with a loss of 10 points until 11:30 PM on Saturday, April 16. After that point in time, the assignment earns a zero.

Part 3 is worth 25 points. This is due by 11:30 PM on Monday, April 18. It will be accepted late, with a loss of 10 points until 11:30 PM on Saturday, April 23. After that point in time, the assignment earns a zero.

It will be accepted late, with a loss of 10 points until 11:30 PM on Saturday, April 30. After that point in time, the assignment earns a zero.
Part 5: This is an emailed research paper. The paper will be in APA format, a minimum of 10 pages long, & will use at least 4 refereed journal articles & 3 .gov websites as resources. No other resources are allowed. The use of other resources will result in a loss of significant points. A rubric for this assignment will be posted under the “Rubrics” link. A video in APA format will be posted under the “Videos” link. Instructions for viewing the videos will be located under the “Important Instructions” link. Part 5 is worth 100 points. This is due by 11:30 PM on Monday, May 2. It will be accepted late, with a loss of 10 points until 11:30 PM on Saturday, May 7. After that point in time, the assignment earns a zero.
