In this exercise, you will incorporate some of the insights from your textbook to shed some light on this mindset.
Read Mathis, Chapters 13-18.
Imagine you have a friend who claims to love Jesus but sees no value in regular involvement in a local church. Using Mathis’ description of the benefits of corporate worship (pp. 159-163), write a brief letter to your friend seeking to convince him/her of the value of belonging to a church. Cite at least 3 biblical references to support your argument.
